Fusion Coolant Systems is a University of Michigan spin-out company that sells a patented advanced machining system that provides better cooling and lubricity than conventional machining systems. This minimum quantity lubrication system can be used in aerospace, biomedical, automotive and heavy equipment manufacturing applications. Unlike current metalworking fluids, both parts and chips are dry after machining thereby often eliminating a post-machining cleaning step.
